DQ8 is the most fun I ever had with a video game. Not all games need blood and gore.

Just because the game looks like Dragon Ball doesn't mean it's for children. (It is quite difficult, actually.) The humor of the game is incredible, perverted at times and always there to make you laugh with a witty comment.

At first I hesitated myself because the game just looks like it isn't for me, but with time I came to love the series.

I have a PS3 now and one game... CoD4. Just beat the single player mode the other night on easy because I fucking suck, but I've been having a fucking BLAST with the online play. Best gaming experience I've ever had.

My handle is Sloppopotamus if anyone wants to be my friend... love.gif

01laugh.gif I learnt that I sucked at COD when I got online! 11jacked.gif
i'll add you later, 'cause I play cod4 ocasionally.

Been playing PES2009. That old game still has it. Just don't know for how long

Ill agree with you on that one. DQVIII was a freaking awesome RPG. And I played the first couple over here in the US for NES when they were called Dragon Warrior. I rank that series up with the Final Fantasy games.

Mario Golf for the N64 was recently released on the Wii Virtual Console. I have been playing the hell out of that game lately. I forgot how great that game is. Very challenging. Easily one of my favorite golf related videogames.

I have also been playing World of Goo for the Wii. This title was released this week on the Wiiware section of the Wii Shop Channel. Very brilliant gameplay. This is also available for the PC, however the Wii version feels much more intuitive. You basically have these little globs of goo that are located at one spot on the level. You must use the goo guys to form bridges, towers and other strange shapes to lead the remaining goo guys to a drain positioned away from the location of the goo guys. It's hard to explain so check out this video:

I've also been playing through Bioshock on the 360 finally. Great game!

Just got Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath during our last port visit. Slaughtered the hell out of it. Fun game, I love the C&C series, and Kane is such a badass.

Went back and started playing STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl in anticipation of Clear Sky. Didn't realize it was already out, so I'll have to get that when I get back.

And finally, I got about 7 dudes to install Aliens VS Predator 2 and play over our Adhoc on the ship. That lasted about 2 days then they all quit. Guess I shouldn't have gone so hardcore on them in multiplayer. I love this game though.

They are saying that is does... at least that's what I've read... although I read that they had to scale back a few things too for now that may be updated later through XBL.

Dead Space looks awesome. I'm really leaning toward swooping it up. My TV sucks though, any word if it's gonna make it's way to PC?

Littlebigplanet got delayed due to some of the music in it having muslim chants about death and such. So they had to recall all the discs and reprint.

Warhammer Online: Age Of Reckoning 45stars.png
really really enjoying this. i never got into WOW or other MMORPG games, but this is great. loving the PvP scenarios and sieges!

there's so many good games coming up over the next couple of weeks though!

Guitar Hero: World Tour
Fallout 3
Fable 2
Gears Of War 2
Left 4 Dead
Dead Space

I honestly do not know where I'm going to find the time for them all.

Finally got a PS3 yesterday and picked up PES2009, GTA IV and MGS for it. Only played 2009 so far but I cannot freakin' wait to get to grips with the other two.

Now that LBP's been delayed, I need to buy something else. I'm not sure what to get between Dead Space and Far Cry 2.

Haven't really played much except WipEout HD recently. I've still got MGS4 to play but I'm getting a new monitor to play on in a few weeks so I'm going to wait until then.

Since I've been unable to shake work off my mind recently, I pulled the xbox out of the cuboard and gave it some stick, works well for stress.

Can anyone recommend a role playing game for the xbox?

World of Goo on the wii rocked real hard. Probably about 8 hours to finish, some real head scratchers. Now to work on OCDing the levels.
Installed the wii homebrew channel, mostly just using the emulators but the quake demo with wiimote control was sweet.
Waiting for guitar hero 4 next weekend and that will suck most of my playing time.

Last game I bought was Mercs 2, was alright to begin with, but then I completed it and got bored. Its actually worse than the first game, which I found to be dull as fuck after a while.

Playing COD4, again, at the moment. Also GTA4 and Bully. Not to mention COD5 Multiplayer BETA and the awesome as fuck Endwar demo. Just enough to pass the time until Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2 come out.
