Unfortunately ESPN360 doesn't stream Champions League or Europea League games. Anyone know of a good HD streaming site like it for the 2 competitions? I keep missing all the freaking games!!

^ that was pretty embarassing and shambolic

More amusing was the commentator describing it as a "smash and grab" win for Athletic Bilbao! I'm not familiar with them, but was hugely impressed tonight, Muniain looks a classy player.

Rafael is rotten.

I guess it makes sense, since del Bosque stopped asking Torres to come around and asked for Lorente and Muniain.

Last time ManU lost two matches in a row in Europe was 96 apparently btw. Glad to contribute ! 02smile.gif

That was not smash and grab...United were lucky to only lose 3-2. Cracking game, though.

End.

Taylor referring to llorente as "lorinto" throughout the game

Absolute shambles of a channel

There's really no feeling quite like seeing your team score the only goal of a game in the 92nd minute 01laugh.gif That's Weimann up and running...

Yeah, but...that kind of reaction? He must have put his house on City to win, or something.

Here's something that might be of interest to you by the way. It's fairly lengthy, but as a money man some of the charts probably give you a twinge in your trousers.

That could almost have been written by me 01laugh.gif Thanks. It's always nice when somebody else researches something you've an interest in and comes to exactly the same conclusions as you.

Attendance has to be a worry for them, though. The year I was a season ticket holder, a league game was poorly attended when there were less than 40,000 people there. I've been to maybe six league games this season so far, the highest attendance was 35,000. There were just over 32,000 on Saturday. It's terrible.

About a third of that 32,000 had left before the end, so missed the goal. I'll never understand people that do that any better than people that boo their team off the pitch. So many of Villa Park's regulars are just idiots...

My team havnt won in 10, dropped right down the table and now pretty much in the relegation mix and im guessing one of the worst form teams out of the 92. This guys team are 1 point off the top of the table. 07hahano.gif

Interesting factoid I just heard was that Everton has actually spent more on transfers over the last ? (okay, can't remember this part) years than Arsenal has. Hard to believe, but would also have to compare salary totals at the 2 clubs.

That would though get rid of the apparent myth that Everton always have "little" to work with.

According to this you're misinformed.

Again a last minute win for Arsenal. I didn't think 2 months ago that Spurs would have too worry about finishing in the top 4.

That shows he's right, from a net spend point if view.

Everton don't have a lot, though, it's been much more noticeable over the last couple of years. Without the manager they have, they would be in a relegation scrap most years, at best.

End.

Exactly. And that's the same site the source quoted with that claim.

Actually, it's not fair to Everton (or any other mid or lower-table club), since the average player purchased is going to be worth more than the average player an Everton purchases. Totally agree about Moyes though. Probably best for him he hasn't moved on already to try his luck at bigger and richer clubs, but he really does deserve a bigger stage to work from.

Fucking shit, when the hell is Inter going to start rebuilding with younger stars?! People always talk of Chelsea being an old-folk's home, yet Inter has its top players from 10 years ago still in their squad and line-ups!!! We're talking 10 players on the wrong end of 30, with few of them being players another top club would want starting for them. I don't like Ranieri, but that's not fair to him as a manager, and the younger generation obviously aren't that great if these old-timers are being chosen ahead of them even at their ages. And another old-timer manager like Cappello isn't what they need, they need a younger guy with newer ideas, to grow up with a good generation of players.

It's time for them to live up to their name again, and go after some hot talents from around the World. These youngsters they have just aren't enough to get me to want to watch them week after week. Compare this squad to the one they had in 1999

Panucci
Cordoba
Zanetti
Blanc
Taribo West
Domoraud
Georgatos

Paulo Sousa
Seedorf
Pirlo
Di Biagio
(just had let go of Djorkaeff, Simeone, Cristiano Zanetti & others, and still had good squad players)

Ronaldo
Roberto Baggio drool.gif
Adrian Mutu
Zamorano
Recoba
Vieri

Andy Carroll looked pretty useful last night as well, he looked much more like the player he was at Newcastle
