Sweet!
Religion is no fun. Religion endangers the life and happiness of millions. It must stop. We appeal in particular to the youth of today. STOP THE MADNESS! There are better things in life. |

I was disappointed in New Moon, but I fucking love this band.

I thought the New Moon was excellent, better than the two previous ones. Almost perfect album.
The debut album is still their best effort and I can, from the bottom of my heart, say that it is one of the best albums any Finn band has ever made, metal or not. It's as good as Amorphis' Elegy or Diablo's Eternium. All klassiks, sooner or later. Juha Raivio described that the new album is a mystical opus, a limbo to somewhere...somewhere unknown, where unexpected is expected when you least expect, a mix between Twin Peaks and Raivio's own mindset. He also says that if Pete Steel and Tapio Rautavaara would have a child, it would be this album. Nice. |

New Moon went in a more black metal direction which I did not like. I agree about Morning Never Came.
My ranks Morning Hope Ghosts of Loss New Moon "rwally doesn't live in an apartment, he lives in a HOUSE because he is a very successful IT professional working in a hospital where he can wear his long hair and no one even gives a fuck because he's such a success." - Stevedrummer |

Time to put the new album in your ranks RWally,
The new album can be streamed in here: Emerald Forest and the Blackbird. Enjoy. Edit: The song Aprilt 14th is a tribute to Pete Steele. This post has been edited by Entomba: Jan 24 2012, 11:18 PM |

New ground for me, but quite impressive!
Hate, Lead the Way - such a powerful song, with the right mix of anger, menace and melancholy. I think of ordering this, and looking into their previous stuff, too. |
