Just saw this post on his facebook...

I was listening to Revolver the other day and actually thought that I might like it if he quit and they got another vocalist.
Which is weird because DolvingHaunted is responsible for some of my all time favourite metal songs

just saw this myself, did not pick it at all.
i reckon there's a couple of possible causes: 1) he got fired because of his recent begging antics reflecting very poorly on the whole band. 2) he quit because At The Gates are gearing up for something big again soon, which means no activity for The Haunted, and therefore no viable income for Dolving. Neither Dolving's nor the band's statements are making it sound like an amicable split at all though... Religion is no fun. Religion endangers the life and happiness of millions. It must stop. We appeal in particular to the youth of today. STOP THE MADNESS! There are better things in life. |

To totally assume while knowing absolutely nothing about the situation (because what else is there to do since we can't ask good ole' Pete about it), I'm going to say the band was like "WTF? You said Unseen would set us up for life, and it didn't do shit. We need to go and write a new metal record right now." and Dolving was like "Uh guys... I am an artiste, you don't force my art. I am currently working on my 47th different album that I will give away free to my Facebook followers if they pay for my heating this month." So they fired his ass, and then he posts the message saying he quit. I like my version.

Not sure why Aro never sounded too engaging on either Haunted album. He was fine, but nothing too interesting.
