This is bullshit. Rules shouldn't change after the season starts and doing that at this point without asking anyone is beyond low.

MAX moves changes from 15 moves per week to 4 moves per week.

Now being a manager means a bit more. Make your moves wisely.

The reasoning is brilliant. With 4 moves per week there's less managing to do and that fits his team well. My strategy has been to find hot players and kick them out when the hot streak ends.

If everyone thinks this is ok, I'll quit.

I don't agree with unannounced rule changes like that. I think 15 was too high to begin with but that aside, the way this was done comes across as "this is my game, play by my rules or else"... schoolyard stuff. I'd have thought this would've been handled a little better to be honest.

I agree that 15 was too high, but we've played according to those rules since the beginning and no one complained about it publicly.

Comical to say the least. I had other managers complaining to me behind the scenes and then one of the ones that was complaining threw me under the bus. no big deal. Anyone who knows me knows I ALWAYS go with league majority, even if I don't agree with it.

The majority of managers wanted it changed back so it is and was. The playoffs are going to be a joke with everyone jockeying to get the most playing time possible. Next year instead of making it easy for people it will be challenging and then people will bitch, moan, and quit. Also, I'll make a roto league next year (then Shawn will play too).

Think what you want, but I didn't go for maximum appearances. I'm aware it would've been possible, but I was way too lazy to do it.

If I dropped someone on friday/saturday and he had a game that weekend, I made sure that the new player had also a game that weekend so I wouldn't lose a game. If I dropped someone at the beginning of the week, I never checked how many games he or the new player had coming that week.

I might have gained few extra games with my adding/dropping but I missed several times more games the days I slept on my team and had players on bench.

If there's a way to count appearances on each position for the whole season, I'm willing to bet that your players actually played more than mine.

IC said that he got several complains from other managers about my actions and some of you seem to believe that I made top four only because I switched my players to gain more appearances.

If anyone (you can also pool your money if you want) wants to put your money where your mouth is, I'm willing to bet that I didn't have the most player appearances in this league.

We'd need a reliable escrow and judge(s). We'd probably have to pay something for the judge(s), so the minimum bet is 1000 USD.

So what's the count.

The reason the bet's off is that I was willing to bet when no one knows for sure. Now the only way to get action is that someone counts every appearance and notices that I actually have the most.

If I can't win and can lose, it's -EV for me even though most likely I don't have the most appearances.

You sneaky bastard! I was dead serious about the bet as I guesstimated there's more than 50% chance of someone else having more apparearances than me.

And talking about luck. Looks like there's a good chance you'll be fighting for the 5th place with me. That's the thing with head to head -league. One bad week can ruin your whole season.
