QUOTE
Californian metal act Machine Head have announced details of a headline performance in the Olympia Theatre in Dublin on May 30th, as well as a Northern Irish show at the Ulster Hall in Belfast a few days prior on May 28th.

The band's seventh long player Unto The Locust was released in September of last year to positive critical reviews, with many fans and critics saying the album was among the band's best work in their 20+ year career.

Tickets for the Dublin show go on sale this Friday and will cost you €27.90.

Nice! So they're filling up the gap in May with headline shows!

Now would be a great time to do a TTH-style gig somewhere in Europe...

Alright Dynamo, we wanna see some fucking oldskool, Holland style, Jackie Chan Kung Fu shit!

I'm there. Shite venue for a metal gig though. No chance for circle pits.

We will do our best to make one. 01laugh.gif Could be very intense with the size of that place.
Hoping to make this but if not will be seeing them at donnington. 09cheese.gif

Impossible task. I was there 2 years ago to see MH. Robb was shouting to get the pits going but the ground floor is very small, and yet is still has a metal bar half way into the crowd to break it up. It was one of the loudest gigs i've been to though.

Anyone able to text live info about the setlist during the show? PM me and I'll give you a cell phone nr/email...

Would like to do live updates on TMS like we did from the first 8th Plague show in Oslo.

^ Setlist was the exact same as Belfast:

I am hell
Be still and know
Imperium
Beautiful mourning
The blood, the sweat, the tears
Locust
This is the end
Aesthetics of hate
Old
Darkness within
Bulldozer
Ten ton hammer
Halo
Davidian

And the gig was epic, as you come to expect.

Last nights show was savage, MH & Evile both played great.

I have the full gig here, Currently uploading
http://www.youtube.com/user/Chromeboy2003/videos

I was disappointed that Robb would'nt afford the 15 or so fans that waited for 1hr 30mins after the gig a few minutes to sign peoples concert tickets or take a pic or two. Adam must of been outside the venue for at least an hour and had no problem signing stuff or taking pics, Phil when leaving spent about 5mins signing and taking pics (thats all it took as there was only about 15 0f us) before he left. Then Dave came out and same as Phil spent 5mins doing the rounds. Then out came Robb and he just breezed past us not stopping for 1 second, Got into the awaiting car and took off. Now i could appreciate that if it was a case of maybe 50+ fans waiting but there was only a few of us and like Phil & Dave, Would've only took 5mins to make everyone happy with their concert ticket signed or a pic taken.

Maybe they were on a tight schedule and Robb being the last in the car meant they had to leave.

I'm sure there was a reason he left in a hurry. They're a fan friendly band to say the least.
