I just set up a fantasy league for myself and a bunch of friends, and thought I'd create a league for MH1 as well.

If you're interested in joining, here are the details:

Jay Hart has invited you to join their personal league in the Fantasy Formula 1 competition at fantasyracers.com. To play simply click on the link below and register for free.

http://www.fantasyracers.com/go.php?ref=20210719

Once registered you can create your own entry and make your selections to represent your team in the Fantasy League table!!!

Once you have created your entry you can join the personal league of Jay Hart by selecting the Join Personal League from the menu and enter the following details:-

League Name : MH1 Frontliners

Pick your team under Strategy 1.

You get 40 Million to spend. Can pick up to 6 drivers, but obviously better drivers cost more money.

Appreciated Kemuri, but the last time I did fantasy racers,I never even bothered by seasons end. And I suspect with this being more than likely Webber's last season, I'm going to be done watching Formula One altogether.

Just gotten sick of the hypocrisy of it all.

*mild rant over*

What about Daniel Ricciardo or are you only hunting for glory... you homo!

I'd still watch F1 even if there was no British drivers, heck I support Kobayashi more than I do Lewis 01laugh.gif

Dude, I was a Webber fan before he joined F1 (the Aussie media waxed lyrical about him and his struggle to break into Formula 1, so naturally, I'd already been following his career for years before he even entered F1.).

Ricciardo = MEH!!!! 12ohwell.gif I mean, it'd be good to see an Aussie win the F1 championship again, but it'd be like being an English Liverpool fan and cheering for Chelsea in Champions League. I mean, yeah, an English team won it, but it's not really the team YOU wanted to win it.

Anyway, over the years, I have grown tired of the politics of the sport. I got sick of the hypocrisy of it all (ie: when Schumacher was getting preferential treatment at Ferrari, everybody was whinging about it, and the media shit talked Ferrari every chance they could get. Then Red Bull does the same for Sebastian Vettel, and no one bats an eyelid.)

And Bernie Ecclestone is a straight up CUNT!!! I can't wait for the day that money hungry little fucking garden gnome kicks the bucket.

Managed to catch the last couple of minutes of the qualifying.

Hamilton was waaay faster than everybody else.
Wow to Grosjean.
Mercedes were fast but it would be better if Rosberg would have been the faster Mercedes driver.

Red Bull and Raikkönen have some room for improvement.

That's the closest to F1 2012 thread, so:
Great season, 6 world champions, and six different winners in the six races. Raikkonen is back, which makes the championship worth watching for me. Predictions for Canada: Vettel will head the standings, very steady performance. Can't wait for the next race.

It was nice to see Webber win Monaco.

And I find it ironic (and AWESOME!) that now WEBBER holds all the cards when it comes to driver contracts. I mean, right now, a couple of big teams (Ferrari obviously) want Webbers signature because he is such a great team player and he is awesome for developing the car/strategy for a race. Everyone can now see that Vettel has basically been benefitting from not only his team fully backing him up, but also the technical feedback that Webber has given them and his strategy.

And now Red Bull can see that without Webber, Vettel is gonna struggle to stay competitive in the championship (If it wasn't for Webber controlling and slowing the pace of the field in Moncao, Vettel would never have found himself back in contention for some good championship points.) He might even become just an also ran without Webber there.

Basically, if Red Bull want to stay competitive beyond this year, they will need Mark Webber more than they dare publicly admit right now, because there is NO driver on the grid with Mark Webber's talent, ability and technical knowledge that is actually willing to be such a team player like Webber is. Hell! There is NO DRIVER (talented or average) on the grid right now that is willing to be such a team player like Webber is.

I hope that he can finally get a fair crack at the championship this year and that Red Bull rewards him for all these years of loyal service, with all the same full support that they have given Vettel these past couple of years. Though somehow I doubt it. I have a feeling they will let Webber lead the championship and keep Vettel close behind like they did 2 years ago, and then right at the end, totally fuck Webber over again and give him no support in the last couple of races and instead focus on Vettel.
