For me, Call of Duty 4 remains heavily in the rotation. The irony is I haven't even touched the single player mode. 01laugh.gif

Just picked up Wii Play. Sucks for the most part, but I had a 10% off coupon on games, and needed to get an extra remote, so it was basically free. The pool and shooting are fun in short spurts.

Picked up Tiger Woods 09 for the Wii this week as well. Awesome stuff. The swing has been greatly improved over last year’s version. It seems like the advanced swing does not hook everything for lefties anymore.

Madden 09 (Xbox 360) is fading fast on my rotation. To be honest, I'll probably play it more when they fix all the online glitches with the next patch. While I'm use to the whole QB scramble thing, the WR snap was way outta line. Should have bought it for Wii, but I heard the bullet passing online is broken on that. Great job EA!! Keep up the fantastic QA.

I got Nights for Wii for $4.98 at Target on clearance. Still haven't played it yet though, but I figure if it brings back a little Saturn nostalgia, that' can't be a bad thing.

I can't wait until the Wii MotionPlus sensor comes out. drool.gif True 1:1

Also, still rockin the Wii fit, which is very fun when you have friends over. Rock Band is sorta on the backburner now that the Wii seems to be our party console of choice.

I'm not really playing anything at the moment. I'm waiting for LittleBigPlanet and SOCOM: Confrontation, those two will keep me busy for a good few months.

I got a 360 wired controller for my PC to play GRID and I'm loving the game, mainly for it's variety and lush graphics.

Next game I plan to buy is STALKER: Clear Sky, it's due out next Friday.

Mercenaries 2 on Friday, cannot wait, I've been playing through the first again. Is it weird that I prefer Mercenaries over the GTA III Trilogy?

Also I intend to download Braid off xbl at some point this week.

Just finished GTA IV. Might start Halo 3 that's been on my shelf for a long time now, but I don't really have that much time for games at the moment.

BX - single player Call of Duty 4 was actually really cool for a typical war based fps. Quite intense at times, and the story wasn't half bad either. Really short though - unless you ramp up the difficulty, you'll finish it in one or two evenings.

The single player is so polished that you'll end up replaying lots of the missions anyway because of how awesome they are.

I've lost count of how many times I've done "All ghillied up"

Yeah, that's definitely one of the best. I've been meaning to replay the game on a higher difficulty, but like I said I haven't had much time for games lately. 12ohwell.gif

^ Yea I thought it would get about a 7, Personally I don't get all the hype this is getting, and the love the first one got. I liked the first one, dont get me wrong, but it became repetitive as fuck and the AI sucked.

Im not suprised this one has crappy AI either, thought it would.

Anyway, for the fucking hell of it Im still gonna buy it and I hope the devs get their asses on a patch.

It's pretty much all I've been playing. There just isn't time for any other games usually.

I recently picked up Silent Hill: 0rigins.

So far, I love the story and atmosphere. But, like most Silent Hill games, the fighting controls are a little weak.

This is the first Silent Hill game where your weapons break. I can understand a wooden stick and maybe even a police baton breaking, but come on, a sledgehammer and an industrial steel wrench breaking when hitting the equivilant of a human skull? I don't think so.

Also, it very easy to get trapped by the monsters. The character you play has a very hard time fighting more than one monster at a time. The monsters in this game also hit the hardest out of any of the other games. Plus, there's barely any health items to be had.

There's not as many riddles compared to the other Silent Hill games. This game seems to be more focused on combat, which really brings the game down a few notches.

But, like I said, the story ties in very well with the rest of the series and Travis (the character you play) isn't a whiny wuss like most of the other male protagonists of the other games. The game is very graphic like the others and the places you visit are extremely detailed.

I'm not finished with the game yet, so maybe my mind will change by the end. But so far, I'd give the game a 6.5 out of 10.

Thinking of going to pick up Bad Company or The Orange Box, but I'm a little FPS'd-out.

still haven't finished GTA4, only been playing in dribs and drabs. and like all previous GTA games, i'm finding the novelty is starting to wear off. i just want the story to reach a fucking climax now.

my internets have been fucked and painfully slow the past week, so i've been back and replayed through Half Life 2 and Episode 1. they're still awesome. i've just started on Episode 2 now.

now that my net connection is back and working properly i'm gonna get stuck back into TF2 as well. got a whole lot of Heavy achievements and unlocks to work on now!

Picked up Mass Effect for my comp. My PC screen is so much better than my TV it makes a ton of difference. Plus the improvements they made on the 360 game made it a lot of fun. Not a ton of time to play games, so I've been pretty much rocking that and the occasional GTA4 session. Almost done with ME, that should take me up to the release of Warhammer. That game looks fun as hell.
