Rosetta - Je N'en Connais Pas la Fin
well, this album definitely doesn't disappoint. especially this song which is pure genius. love the heavy guitars at the end. Yes TGS is still the better album, but this is superior to W/L if you ask me (which for me really only has 'Wake' as a great song). For me Rosetta have taken Isis' torch |

Dax Riggs and the dude from Goatwhore really need to put Acid Bath back together. They were amazing and I'm sure tons of people would love it. Crack Pipes, Needles, PCP & fast cars...kinda mix really well in a dead movie star. - System of a Down - "Stealing Society" |

WitchCraft -
This Witchcraft song has some lyrics sung BACKWARDS. Crazy shit and I love it....here is the song and lyrics: Witchcraft - Her Sisters They Were Weak The once was a king Who live a palace uphill He had three beautiful daughters They had no free will The king sold his soul To the devil yes indeed In return he was promised Wealth and life eternally The devil came riding one day Upon his blackened horse The princesses was his aim They were destined to run his course One of the girls were tall More beautiful than blue skies Her hair was colored bright And she had white marble eyes She will die Sung backwards: (Her sisters they were weak They fell for the devil's charms Mesmerizing eyes They went right into his arms Afraid to look around The bright girl ran away One last glance And she saw her sisters pray.) The king he sat alone And listened to the sound He rest upon his throne While the palace hang on the ground Witchcraft - I Want You To Know "We are the reason why the Gods change the season", impressive lyrics. Yer darn tootin', I forgot how much of a great tune this is. Totally forgot Mike Patton was on it. I remember when this album very first came out. I used to listen to it on the way to school on the school bus (i was only in the 7th grade!) and used to BLAST IT. All the black people were like WTF? You a crazy ass white boy fo' real yo! this song over and over and over...
I ran with the dead and chased And chased my own shadow Built walls, walls of belief Reaction from the fall We are ones of Will Desperate and dying I was, I was along for the ride The ride of the unaligned I gave you every word to hold On a deathless night Sucking, bleeding, inside out If I had gave in I'd never live that down And I wanted to believe in everything I'm after But I was drowning in the hell that I raised And when there's nothing left to say You won't need a reason To kill these cancers that may come your way Long cold wind hits face to remind your not done Unloved failure, serves as lessons learned Faith regained from plagues What will I find in me I found, I found in the falls, in the falls The falls of the unaligned I ran with the dead and chased my own shadow Built walls of belief I saw the dead rise I saw the dead rise Reflection dying with me |

![]() Love that album! ^ Can't wait for Enemy Unbound. I personally can't stop listening to Crack The Skye these days. Start to finish, not a single skipper, which is not only rare but vital to the wonderfully crafted flavor of the record as a whole. Love it. And yes, if I could marry it, I probably would. Sorry, Blood Mountain. ![]() I'm in the middle of a serious proggy/sludgy/stoner...y phase right now come to think of it, so I'm open to any recommendations any of you might have of shit that's in the same vein as Mastodon, Baroness, etc. |

^ My kind of language.
Nothing like Mastodon or Baroness, those kind of bands are hard to find. I can't name any that aren't either of those two. Electric Wizard Isis (early work, I.e Celestial) Shrinebuilder Reverend Bizarre Earth Old Man Gloom (A sludge band with a hardcore & noise/ambient edge). Zozobra (Sort of OMG's sister band, but less emphasis on noise & ambient parts. A lot more "friendly" to listen to). This post has been edited by Doommantia: Aug 3 2010, 1:52 AM My Music Project. While the style was anticipated by the Melvins from Washington, many of its earliest pioneers were from the state of Louisiana.[1] OK, fair enough Crack Pipes, Needles, PCP & fast cars...kinda mix really well in a dead movie star. - System of a Down - "Stealing Society" |

yep, one of the fewer "newer" bands that had me in awe - first i thought that they must be from gothenburg - but hell no, they are from tampa florida - wierd but great nonetheless the cool thing about them is that they don't go with the whole faster, louder, more technical path that every new band out there seems to have chosen for their music ...aaand - what is always a great thing - they make long songs seem very short, because they are just fuckin awesome oh...and +1 on runk's black tusk recommendation - i'm loving their new record |
