Sorry, the vocals kill it for me.
I liked "Lux Aeterna" from "Requiem For A Dream". This dude actually did a pretty good job on guitar playing over it: This post has been edited by Carebear: Aug 27 2009, 12:34 AM QUOTE "I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up your ass." |

^ Its all about the Terminator theme. I was going to say "In the House In A Heartbeat" by John Murphy used in 28 Days Later, but it's already had a mention.
Ill go with this then: This post has been edited by Kiddestroyer: Aug 27 2009, 8:10 PM |

every Bud Spencer/Terrence Hill film theme Haha, I actually clicked all 4 now. I was curious if you had chosen Dune Buggy too. I liked that song for a month or so after I had seen the movie as a teenager. It's Terence Hill btw. With one r. There was some show in TV a couple of years ago, and the person had won quite some money already, and then came the question what Terence Hill's real name was. I said loudly "Mario Girotti" before they even showed the 4 possibilities, but the person didn't know. This post has been edited by Guest: Aug 27 2009, 8:18 PM |

The Terminator 2 theme. Outstanding piece of music. Easily the best and most memorable score for me. Towards the end of it were the theme is really slow and the horns are playing in the background is beautiful. It has great feel.
Jurassic Parks score is great. The Pirates Of The Caribbean movies have outstanding scores. Pride and Glory had a few pieces of music in it that were awesome. Clint Mansell's remix of the Requiem for A Dream with the full orchestra is one of the best pieces of music I've ever heard. More and more these days I notice cool scores in movies. Inglorious Basterds had some good music throughout. Friday Night Lights was badass with Explosions In The Sky basically throughout it non stop. In short, a good movie score gets me wet. How could I, ever think, it's funny how, everything you swore would never change, is different now, like you said, you and me make it through, didn't quite, fell apart, where the fuck were you? |

I can't believe I forgot T2 *facepalm*
While I can remember: Dick Dale's "Misirlou". Granted it's an old song, but when you hear that song, you automatically think Pulp Fiction: Anytime Benny Hill runs away. Also, even though it's not a film, I gotta include "Ozar Midrashim" the theme song for Soul Reaver 1 by Information Society. I gotta say, there aren't many theme songs I've heard as epic: QUOTE "I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up your ass." |

One of the latest from The Wrestler
"Oh, king eh? Very nice. And how'd you get that, eh? By exploiting the workers. By hanging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society." |

Great thread! So many cool tunes that I haven't heard or hadn't paid proper attention to before.
My minor contribution and all time fave off the top of my head. Kinda obvious tune but found a really beautiful version of it that makes me want to burn my guitar. |

Can't leave out Rocky:
Tell me who here doesn't get psyched up and ready to knock someone out when they hear this theme song? *waits for the obvious "We'd like to knock you out and we don't need the Rocky theme song to feel like that" reply....most likely from Teh Penis* This post has been edited by Carebear: Sep 18 2009, 8:35 AM QUOTE "I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up your ass." |
