Conan (the new one)
Not as bad as people say. Some nice Conan spirit and a decent villain on the plus side. Too much CGI, some ridiculousness on the other. Certainly not as good as the original, and not just because of Arnie. ![]() |

The Wire / Season 3
2nd season was a little better I think. But you can't really compare individual seasons meaningfully. I think this has now become my favorite television show. Some of the best stuff in this season: - Omar and Brother Mouzone. Hahah, best fucking pairing ever. - The numerous shootouts - The Kima lesbian scene ... .drool - Cutty .. I'm hoping he will go all soldier in the next season. Him having been spotted by Marlo's crew member (that he was about to shoot) and all. This post has been edited by Loomis: Mar 13 2012, 7:37 AM |

Survival of the Dead It must be unprecedented to create a ground breaking, genre defining masterpiece of cinema for your directorial debut and then spend the next 45 years getting progressively worse at every single aspect of film making. Sad. Edit: Don't give me that "Dawn of the Dead was better than Night of the Living Dead" nonsense, cause I won't have it. I agree with this mostly. I still love the first 3 in Night, Dawn, and Day. In that order. Land, Diary, and Survival get worse. In that order. The Dawn of the Dead Ultimate Edition is still one of the better collector sets. I wish Night would get the documentary features Dawn and Day got. I love making of documentaries. I also love good commentaries. But that is hit or miss. For every great one you always get an equally shitty one. Always been interested in how things are done and what the stars or directors have to say about the experience. I also still kind of like The Crazies despite no name actors and 70's porno production. Also one of very few remakes I actually enjoyed. This post has been edited by Mattitude: Mar 14 2012, 9:13 PM |

Tim & Eric's Billon Dollar Movie
Some extremely funny stuff in here, but its obviously for people with a certain type of humour. Its mostly surreal and I expect most people wouldn't at all enjoy this film whatsoever. Its on the whole pretty disappointing however, considering how great their show on Adult Swim "Awesome Show, Great Job" is. (which again only appeals to people who have a "strange" sense of humour), some parts of the film are obviously a cheap grab to shock. I'd recommend this to people who have seen and enjoy their show, and only those people. This post has been edited by Doommantia: Mar 16 2012, 4:13 AM |

I love Tim & Eric. I have all the season dvd's along with ATF and Metalocolypse. Dr. Steve Brule (John C. Reilly) is getting his own spinoff show from there.

Didn't watch it in years and just remembered it yesterday. Its one of this movies, where everything fits together just in the end (even though here you can guess the end quite early, but in this case its not bad at all). Definitely entertaining! QUOTE Good god man. Do you have know decency? I didn't make it that far but you just assured I'd never revisit out of morbid curiosity. I want to keep playing for the right team. Your vivid description is poetic. But yeah, a she man getting railed by two dudes a good movie does not make. Yeah, but it's like watching a car wreck. You are horrified at what you are seeing, but you can't turn away out of morbid curiosity. ![]() |

Seeing her ass-to-mouth-ing Evan Stone almost made it all worth it, to be honest. Such a dirty "girl".
Equally entertaining was seeing all of the other performers trying to not look repulsed and failing. This post has been edited by Sir Runk: Mar 17 2012, 10:36 AM |

Carnage
You can see that this is actually a play. The whole thing makes you grin and laugh all the time. "Two pairs of parents hold a cordial meeting after their sons are involved in a fight, though as their time together progresses, increasingly childish behavior throws the evening into chaos. ....with Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet and Christoph Waltz" imdb.... It would have been Erving Goffman's favorite movie. |

Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory
Good shit, but perhaps a tad too repetative for anyone who has seen parts 1 and 2. I was a little disturbed though to see uncensored photos and footage from the crime scene of the three, naked, bloody, muddy, butchered little boys. Admittedly I haven't seen the first two movies in a while, but I don't remember them being that explicit about it. |
